About

Lynne Rose Mollo

  Aloha and Welcome.....

After working in the mental health field for over 30 years it has become clear to me that a critical component in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes is for the client to feel safe.  I believe that part of this safe environment is knowing more about the therapist guiding this trusted process..  Please let me tell you a little bit about myself, how I work and why I do what I do.

My passion in life has always been clear to me.  From as far back as  I can remember I have been interested in the human psyche and how we all relate in the world.  My life experiences, curious nature and passion for supporting individuals in living their best life led me to focus my goals towards an education in the field of social sciences.

I have been formally developing my skills as a Mental Health practitioner by receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Art Therapy and a Master's of Social Work.  My practical experience has been with Adults, Couples, Children, Elderly, Veterans, Homeless and Incarcerated individuals.  I worked extensively with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and those with severe behavioral and psychological challenges. I have facilitated groups and organized communities using a culturally sensitive approach. My style and interventions are eclectic with a strong trauma informed component. I am trained and certified in many different and unique interventions such as, but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Equine Therapy, Sandplay, Trauma Resiliency Model.

A Kīpuka is an opening, rich with vibrant life and soil for growth in the midst of desolate land.  I created Kīpuka Counseling and Consulting to provide a safe refuge offering hope in guiding you through lifes challenges.

I would love to share my years of experience and passion for understanding the human mind by providing a safe space for you to get out of the dark and hard areas of your life and step into the opening where contentment & hope can grow.

Aloha,

Lynne
